Version upgrade procedure for when the version upgrade operations fail

After loading into the main unit is complete, the "Update OK?" display appears. Reply OK. The six LEDs from F1 to F6 are lit up. If you switch off the power at this time, reloading may be impossible.

Symptom: A4000/A5000 main units do not start up when the power is switched on.

Version upgrade re-execution procedure

1. Download the A4000/A5000 version upgrade program MIDI on the YSISS download page.
  (Check that after self-thawing, there are the "main.mid" and "sub.mid" programs.)

2. Make the MIDI connection: MIDI OUT on the MDF2/3, XG Works, or other MIDI sequencer
  (or MIDI interface) -> A4000/A5000 MIDI IN (for the A5000, the Port A MIDI IN)

3. While holding down "COMMAND/EXIT" + "ASSIGNABLE" + "AUDITION" on the A4000/A5000
   main unit, switch On the power.

4. With the MDF2/3, XG Works, or other MIDI sequencer, play back just main.mid (SMF file)
   on the A4000 or main.mid followed by sub.mid on the A5000. (This will take from 15 to
   30 minutes.)

5. Check that the six LEDs from F1 to F6 are lit up. Switch off the power, then switch
   it on again.

6. Execute "DISK" -> "COMMAND/EXIT" -> [Turn Knob 1 to the right.] -> [Push Knob 4] on
   the Load OS to check that the version is V1.07.
